Please Find A Solution

Vista Grande Community Center is about a mile from San Antonito Elementary School.
And although the school and the center are relatively close, they might as well be miles apart for parents whose children are enrolled in the before- and after-school programs.
The county cut the programs from all its community centers where students have to be transported. It seems the vans used by the centers are not allowed, by state law, to be used. County Commissioner Michael Brasher and parents have been meeting and talking about finding a solution.
The problem still exists, but it is heartening to see these people coming together to find a way to meet this pressing need.
