    HARRIS NEIL WINKLER
    Harris Neil Winkler, 73, of Edgewood passed away Jan. 26 in Albuquerque.
    Harris was born April 25, 1934, in Martin County, Ind., to Gerald and Kathleen (Shieks) Winkler. Harris married Shirley Abel on June 13, 1954. He was preceded in death by his father.
    Harris is survived by his mother, Kathleen Winkler of Orlines, Ind.; wife, Shirley Winkler of Edgewood; sons, Gary Winkler and wife Patricia of Aurora, Colo.; Keven Winkler and wife Laurie of Pleasant Hill, Calif.; grandsons, Cristopher Winkler; Sean Winkler and granddaughters, Sarah Winkler and Rachel Winkler.
    A Memorial Service was held Jan. 31 at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty; Jim Turner officiated.

    JAMES EARL DAUGHERTY SR.
    James Earl Daugherty Sr., 74, of Moriarty passed away on Jan. 26 at his home in Moriarty.
    James was born March 29, 1932, in Owensboro, Ky. He was preceded in death by his parents, children, Gloria Ann; Monty Ray; wife Helen (Smith) Daugherty; brothers, Leroy and Lucian.
    James is survived by his son, James Daugherty Jr. of Moriarty; daughter, Vonda Lee Cammack of Moriarty and sisters, Wanda Hill and Nina Miller.
    A Memorial Service was held Jan. 31 at the Church of Christ in Moriarty. John C. Booth Jr. officiated. Interment was at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Feb 1.

    DANIEL RAYMOND SILVA SR.
    Daniel Raymond Silva Sr., 61, of Moriarty passed away Jan. 30 at his home in Moriarty with his loving family beside him.
    Daniel was born May 19, 1946, in Albuquerque to Perfecto B. and Carmen (Sanchez) Silva. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward Silva; and son, Daniel Raymond Silva Jr. Daniel is survived by his step-father, George Lorigo; sons, Arthur Silva and wife Valerie of Corrales; Troy Silva of Los Lunas; Edward Silva of Rio Rancho; daughters, Ramona Silva and husband Keith Gambling of Moriarty; Yvonne Montoya and husband Lawrence Jr. of Ft. Hood, Texas; brothers, Ernest Silva and wife Polly; Harold Silva; Gregory Schuman; Johnny Silva and wife Carmen; Ricky Silva and wife Jill; Jerry Sanchez; sisters, Gloria Gutierrez and husband Ray; Anna Drennen and husband Paul; Debbie Sanchez; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
    A Rosary was recited on Jan. 31 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty. A Mass was held Feb. 1 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty; Father William Young officiated. Interment followed at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty. Pallbearers were Ernest Silva, Harold Silva, Johnny Silva, Gregory Schuman, Jerry Sanchez, Lawrence Montoya, Keith Gambling and Ricky Silva.

    ALICE M. PRITCHARD
    Alice M. Pritchard, 94, of Moriarty passed away Jan. 25.
    She was born September 26, 1913, in El Centro, Calif., to Atilio and Costantine Vanoni. She married Burton H. (Bill) Pritchard.
    Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and wonderful friend.
    Her passion was cooking and made the kitchen her life. She spent the majority of her time running kitchens on the racetrack where her husband worked as a horse owner and trainer. She loved her family and friends and held them very close to her.
    Alice's love for life will greatly be missed by her friends, family and everyone she met.
    Alice is preceded in death by her mother, father, and her husband. She is survived by her three sons, Sam Pritchard and wife Judy of Chula Vista, California; Henry Pritchard and wife Lynn of Chula Vista, California; and Roy Pritchard and wife Wendy of Moriarty, New Mexico; five grandchildren, Mike, Christine, Kiley, Janea, and Keitha Chantelle (KC); and five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Dominic, Lauren, Alexis, and Elizabeth.
    ALONZO BONIFACIO TIXIER
    Alonzo Bonifacio Tixier died Feb. 1. He was a husband, father, grandfather and even Santa.
    Born in Bueyeos, New Mexico, on Aug. 1, 1922, Alonzo was a resident of Fort Morgan, Colo. for the last three years.
    Alonzo was a World War II veteran and a man of many talents, his greatest joy came from time spent with his family.
    He is survived by Maria "Peggy" Tixier, his wife of 61 years, their 5 children; Michael, David and wife Marcy, Marianna and husband Art Ramirez, Eileen, Tim and wife DeeAnn. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
    Alonzo was preceded in death by his eldest son Phillip Tixier.
    In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Eben Ezer Care Center at 122 Hospital Rd., Brush, Co., 80723, which treated Alonzo with respect and compassion.
    A memorial mass will be held on Feb. 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Cross, 367 State Rd. 344 in Edgewood.
    ROBERT "BOBBY" SHANE LIPSEY
    Robert "Bobby" Shane Lipsey, 28, beloved son and father, passed into God's Arms surrounded by his family and friends.
    Bobby recently devoted his life to God at the Crossroads Bible Fellowship Church in Moriarty. In his youth he worked his way up in the Boy Scouts to earn his Star Badge. He had a special spirit of wonder and excitement about him.
    He is preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Lipsey; grandparents, Dr. William Lipsey, and Vernon and Vera Ruth Lence; and cousin, Tammy Sue Miller.
    He is survived by his mother, Frances Ann Lipsey; daughter, Sierra Nichole Lipsey and her mother, Nicole of Mansfield, IL; grandmother, Maxine Lipsey of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; aunt, Nancy and Calvin Comp of Stonington, Ill.; uncle, Loel and Mary Lence and their son Brian of Texas; uncle, Bill Myres of Rockhill, S.C.; cousins, Jim Miller of Herrin, Ill., and Karen, Sandra, Cheryl, Janet, Becky; special cousins, Christopher of Albuquerque, Jenny, Kevin, Jeff and Heather, and Brianna Miller of Illinois; and many other beloved cousins around the country.
