GERALDINE M. SOUTH
Geraldine M. South, 79, of Estancia passed away May 16 in Albuquerque.
Geraldine was born September 4, 1927, in Peoria, Ill., to Clifford and Mary (Summers) Gunner. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Avery P. South Jr. Geraldine is survived by her son, Terry L. South and wife Shirly Ann of Estancia; brother, Clifford S. Gunner of Colorado Springs; sisters, Sonja Jones of Albuquerque; Joan Gunner of Utah and Cherly Lee Dourty of Wisconsin. Funeral Services were held on May 20 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Estancia; President Virgil Higgins officiated. Interment followed at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty.

BILLY RAY LOCKETT
Billy Ray Lockett, 74, passed away on April 27 in Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles, and sisters, Bessie, Betty Jo and Lucille. Billy Ray is survived by one sister, Bobbie A. Dinkins, and one brother, Pat Lockett, and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of “Mr. Bill's” life was held May 10 with family and friends in attendance.
