      RUBY MAY BRADDOCK
    Ruby May Braddock, 87, of Stanley passed away Saturday, June 14, in Albuquerque. Ruby was born May 6, 1921, in Waxahachie, Texas, to Joe S. and Minnie Della (Ford) Flippans. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lawrence Wesley Braddock; and son Royce Earl Braddock.
    She is survived by daughters, Dorothy Dennison and husband Larry of Stanley; Minnie Hooper and husband Bill of Andrews, Texas; son, Wesley Gene Braddock of Moriarty; 19 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held today, June 19, at 11 a.m. at the Gaines County Cemetery in Seminole, Texas. Pallbearers will be Leo Dennison, Ronnie Dennison, Thomas Dennison, Wesley Dennison, and Jerry Spencer.

    PERVY L. “CHUCK” FREEMAN
    Pervy L. “Chuck” Freeman was born in Fayette, Ala., on Aug. 14, 1924, and passed away at his home in McIntosh on May 31.
    Cremation has already taken place.

    JESSICA MARIE ANDERSON-BROCK
    Jessica Marie Anderson-Brock, 24, of Moriarty passed away Monday, June 16, in Albuquerque with her loving family beside her.
    Jessica was born on Jan. 14, 1984, in Fargo, N.D., to Richard Anderson and Betty (Murphy) Howell. Jessica married Brady Michael Brock on Dec. 9, 2006. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Jessica is survived by her husband, Brady Brock of Moriarty; son, Domanic Brock of Moriarty; father, Richard Anderson of Fort Ranson, N.D.; mother, Betty Howell and husband Michael of Moriarty; sister Janelle Wheeler and husband Jarrod of Albuquerque; niece Kylie and nephew Steven Wheeler; brothers, Richard Anderson Jr; Todd Fox.
    A viewing will be held today, June 19, at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 20, at the First Baptist Church of Edgewood at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty. Pastor Brian Piatt officiating. Pallbearers will be Matt Brock, Andrew Brock, Jordan Brock, Jarrod Wheeler, Tori Duran and Skyler Doty.

    LEONARD WAYNE PHILLIPS
    Leonard Wayne Phillips, 65, of Moriarty passed away on June 16. Leonard was born on April 1, 1943, in Globe, Ariz., to Lee and Verna (Nunn) Phillips. Leonard married Sandra Irene Sims on March 30, 1983.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Walter “Sunny” Holmesly and son, Leonard Phillips Jr. Leonard is survived by his wife, Sandra I. Phillips of Moriarty; father-in-law, Paul Sims of Albuquerque; sons, Sean P. Phillips and wife Juliann of Albuquerque; daughter, Erin Pierce and husband Brian of Moriarty; four grandchildren; Hunter Paul Phillips; Dustin Wayne Pierce; Colby Wayne Pierce and Cecil Dale Pierce. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 20, at 2:30 p.m. at the Victory Faith Fellowship in Moriarty. Interment will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty.

    FOREST CLIFTON HUNTER
    Forest Clifton Hunter, 97, passed away at home on Friday, June 13. Clif was born Feb. 15, 1911, in San Saba, Texas, to Arthur Ralph and Mattie Dove Hunter. He was the third of five children. In 1920, the family moved from San Saba County, Texas, to New Mexico and bought a farm north of Mountainair.
    Clif was a dry land bean farmer. On Nov. 16, 1932, Clif married Nettie Pauline Simpson. They had two daughters, Helen and Lois. They were later divorced. In 1960, he married Lillian Cantrell. They were later divorced.
    In 1950, Clif moved to Hot Springs and later to Las Cruces where he resided until his death. He was employed by the New Mexico Highway Department for 25 years, retiring in 1976.
    He is survived by a brother Clarence Hunter and spouse Inez of Las Cruces; a daughter, Helen Lassiter and husband Bob of Twin Falls, Idaho; four grandchildren, Neil Lassiter and wife Darlene of Twin Falls, Shelli Britan and husband Alex of Pearland, Texas, Robin Silvey and husband Joe of Twin Falls and Jeff Lassiter and wife Sherri of Boise, Idaho; son-in-law Mike Runyon of Garden Grove Calif.; 12 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Otho; two sisters, Frances Hill and Verna Chisum and a daughter, Lois Runyon.
    The family wishes to thanks Glen Schweiger, Lee Ann Meadows, Yolanda Gallegos, Patricia Salas and Rumelda Estevane for the wonderful care they gave Clif in the last few years of his life.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice, 299 E. Montana, Las Cruces, NM.
    A visitation was held Monday, June 16, at Getz Funeral Home. Graveside services were held at the Hunter family plot in the Mountainair Cemetery in Mountainair on Tuesday, June 17, the Rev. Doris Jaquess of the Mountainair Christian Center officiated.
