Free Falcon Shows
At Wildlife West
Wildlife West Nature Park is offering falcon flight shows every Sunday afternoon through Sept. 30.
The shows featuring a pair of peregrine falcons in free flight are free with regular admission to the park.
The falcons the fastest animals on earth, according to a news release from Wildlife West are the newest addition to the park's educational and entertainment repertoire. They appear in free-flight demonstrations at 1:30 p.m. each Sunday with world-renowned falconer Tom Smylie.
Smylie has done research on raptors in Greenland, Alaska and all over the United States, and has also presented daily live bird shows at the Rio Grande Zoo.
For more information, call Wildlife West at 281-7655 or visit www.wildlifewest.org.
