Holy Cross Church
Presents 'Good
Friday'
"Good Friday," an original play depicting the implications of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ in the first century and today, will be presented at 7 p.m. Friday at Church of the Holy Cross in Edgewood.
The two-person drama features actors Jennifer Noyer and Paul Gadevaia and singers from the Holy Cross Chancel Choir. The play was written by Linda Raney, director of music at First Presbyterian Church, Santa Fe, and her husband Raymond. The drama is free and open to the public.
Holy Cross is 31/2 miles north of I-40 on N.M. 344 at Hill Ranch Road.
Community Center
Holds Egg Hunt
An Easter egg hunt is scheduled Saturday at the McIntosh Community Center.
The event is open to kids under 11 years of age.
The hunt will start at 11 a.m.

Holy Week
Activities
Bethel United Methodist Church, 2700 Old Route 66 in Moriarty, will be holding Holy Week celebrations.
On Thursday, the church will present "The Living Dramatization of the Last Supper" at 7 p.m.
On Good Friday, a service titled "Remember the Passion" will be presented.
On Easter Sunday, a sunrise service will begin at 6:30 a.m. Worship services are scheduled at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., with an Easter egg hunt between services.
First Baptist Has
Easter Cantata
The First Baptist Church of Estancia presents "Then and There, Settled and Done," an Easter cantata directed by Betty Mitchell.
The presentation will be on Good Friday, March 21, at 7 p.m. and Easter Sunday at 11 a.m.
The church is at 301 S. Eighth St. in Estancia.
Spring Celebration
On Tap Saturday
The First Baptist Church of Moriarty will be holding a Spring Celebration on Saturday beginning at 10:30 at the Moriarty City Park.
The celebration will include a children's Easter egg hunt.
The church, which is behind the Circle K, will hold Easter services on Sunday beginning with Bible study at 9 a.m., a fellowship at 10:15 a.m. and a worship service at 10;45 a.m.
Edgewood Library
Sets Book Sale
The Edgewood Community Library will hold a book sale at the library, which is across from Radio Shack, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 22.

New Mexico State University is offering an East Mountain Area Gardening Series at 6:30 p.m. on consecutive Mondays at the Edgewood Fire Station, 25 E. Frontage Road in Edgewood. Topics include:

Session III, March 31st, "Care and Selection of Ornamental Trees and Shrubs, Including Evergreens" by Joran Viers.
Session IV, April 7th, "Plant Pests (Diseases and Insects)" by Joran Viers.
Session V, April 14th, "Fruit Trees and Small Fruits" by Patrick Torres.
