    Elderly Offered
    Legal Workshop
    The Lawyer Referral for Elderly program is offering a free legal workshop and clinic at the Estancia Senior Center at 305 E. Highland in Estancia on March 26.
    New Mexico residents ages 55 and older are invited to attend, as well as interested family members and those who work with the elderly.
    The workshop will begin at 10 a.m. Attorneys will conduct a one-hour presentation on various legal issues, such as powers of attorney, estate planning and eligibility for Medicaid to pay for long-term care.
    After the presentation, attorneys will meet with those who have made appointments.

    Church Presents
    'Good Friday' Play
    "Good Friday," an original play depicting the implications of the crucifixion of Jesus in the first century and today, will be presented at 7 p.m. March 21, at Church of the Holy Cross in Edgewood.
    The two-person drama features actors Jennifer Noyer and Paul Gadevaia and singers from the Holy Cross Chancel Choir. The play was written by Linda Raney, director of music at First Presbyterian Church, Santa Fe, and her husband Raymond. The drama is free.
    Holy Cross is located 3-1/2 miles north of Interstate 40 on N.M. 344 at Hill Ranch Road.
    Congress Hopeful
    Holds Town Hall
    Albuquerque attorney Robert Pidcock, who is running for Congress, is holding a town hall meeting Tuesday.
    Pidcock is one of five candidates seeking the Democratic nomination for the seat currently held by Rep. Heather Wilson.
    The town hall will take place at the Turquoise Shopping Center in Cedar Crest, at 12220 N.M. 14, at 7 p.m.

    Classic Car Show
    Seeking Entrants
    The Tecolote Auxiliary and La Madera Volunteer Fire Department is inviting owners of specialty vehicles— antique, custom, classic, hot rods, art cars, trucks and motorcycles— to enter a specialty auto show to be held May 31.
    The event will held at the La Madera Fire Station. Contact Peggy for details at 286-3958.
    McIntosh Center
    Hosts Egg Hunt
    An Easter egg hunt will be held March 22 at the McIntosh Community Center.
    The event is open to kids under 11 years of age.
    The hunt will start at 11 a.m.
