      Business People Can Meet at Mixer
The Edgewood Chamber of Commerce will hold its next Mixer and Networking event today at the Single Action Shooters Association's Founder's Ranch.
    The mixer is an opportunity to meet and mingle with other business people.
    The event runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the ranch, which is off Juan Tomas Road east of N.M. 217.

    Parents Invited To First Aid Class
The Torrance County Project Office is sponsoring a two-hour Infant/Toddler First Aid and CPR class today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Estancia Community Center.
    This class will be taught by a certified instructor. This is a free class for parents, caregivers and anyone else in the community who is interested in learning these important skills.
    A translator will be available. Space is limited. Please call Karen at 832-0332 for more information or to register.
   
    Old Timer's Music Festival Saturday
The Old Timer's Day Music Festival will be held Saturday in Estancia.
    A parade down Estancia's main street will kick off the festivities at 11 a.m. A barbecue lunch will be served at Arthur Park, and the afternoon will be filled with music and games.
    A dance will finish the day at the Estancia Community Center from 8 p.m. to midnight.
   
    Wildfest Offers Fun for Youngsters
Talking Talons Youth Leadership's eighth annual Wildfest will be held at Roosevelt Middle School in Tijeras on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    Magicians, musicians, balloon rides, games and presentations by environmental organizations are among the offerings.
   
    Summer's Last Concert Is Friday
The East Mountain Summer Concert Series wraps up at Los Vecinos Community Center on Friday with the Martha Hernandez Review playing a variety of music.
    There was six free outdoor concerts in all, each featuring a different local band playing country, alternative, rock and Spanish music along with a few other styles.
    There will be food vendors on site, and the events are family-friendly, with no alcohol allowed. Bags may be checked.
    Parking is at A. Montoya Elementary School, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic lunches.

    Rotary Club Holds A Blood Drive
The Moriarty Rotary Club is sponsoring a community blood drive.
    The event will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Moriarty Civic Center. To reserve a donation time ahead of the event, go online to bloodhero.com.
