YES Program Doubles in Size

Telegraph staff report
With $53,000 in funding from the Santa Fe County Commission and $21,000 from Edgewood, the Youth Events for Summer Program expanded this year.
Up from 60 kids last year, this year 120 went on field trips four days a week for six weeks, according to Karen Harrison.
Harrison has run the program, which caters to kids ages 5 to 12, for almost a decade.
She said that next year she would like to include a program for children in middle school and early high school.
