      Isotopes Cater To East Mountains
The Albuquerque Isotopes will hold the first East Mountains Community Night on July 22.
    The Isotopes will be taking on the Sacramento River Cats. Tickets for reserved level seats are $6 for all East Mountains and Estancia Valley residents. Deadline to get tickets is July 15.
    Tickets can be purchased at the Isotopes box office, or for information on how to order, call Jordan Gillum at 222-4011.
   
    Rotary Club Holds A Blood Drive
The Moriarty Rotary Club is sponsoring a community blood drive.
    The event will be held July 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Moriarty Civic Center.
   
    Zoo Program Is Coming to Library
Zoo To You will be coming to the Moriarty Community Library on July 31 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Moriarty Civic Center.
    Zoo To You is an indoor education program of biofacts, a slide presentation and hands-on educational zoo animals. This program is free to the public and is sponsored by the Albuquerque Biological Park, Rio Grande Zoo Education, Phelps Dodge Mining Co. and Wells Fargo Bank.

    Talking Talons' Wildfest July 26
Talking Talons Youth Leadership's eighth annual Wildfest will be held at Roosevelt Middle School in Tijeras on July 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    Magicians, musicians, balloon rides, games and presentations by environmental organizations are among this year's offerings.
   
    Dinner To Benefit Political Forum
To fund a political forum before Torrance County's November 2008 general election, Concerned Citizens Inc. and Los Ranchos Grandes y Encantados Property Owners Association are holding an Italian dinner and silent auction on Aug. 9 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the McIntosh Community Center.
    The dinner includes a dessert and iced tea or coffee and music by La Rondalla de Albuquerque. Tickets are $10 per person or $5 for children 10 and under.
