      Forest Park Gets Top Water Honors
The New Mexico Rural Water Association voted Forest Park Property Owners Association water board the 2008 small system of the year.
    John Jones, director of the Entranosa Water & Wastewater Association, accepted the award on behalf of Forest Park and his company, which administers residential water delivery for property owners.
   
    Harms Named To President's List
Amanda Harms of Tijeras was named to the President's List at Oklahoma City University for the spring 2008 semester.
    Oklahoma City University is a nonprofit, private United Methodist university.
   
    Danbury Wins 4th Scholarship
Robert Danbury a Moriarty resident and student at the University of Colorado - Denver, has won recognition for the fourth time for his outstanding sales performance with Vector Marketing.
    Robert is a sales representative with Vector marketing, the company that markets Cutco Cutlery. Through Vector's Skills for Life training and ongoing mentorship, Robert has won his fourth All-American Scholarship from the company.
    Vector has more than 40,000 representatives in North America and Robert ranked fourth among all 40,000 for the most recent campaign. The All-American Scholarship he earned is only available to Vector sales representatives who are full-time college or graduate students.
   
    Salmon Finishes Botany Master's
Ryan Salmon of Tijeras has earned a master's degree in science at the University of Vermont.
    Salmon was a botany major in the Graduate College.
    The university awarded degrees to 2,596 graduates from 46 states and 18 countries.
   
    Chemistruck In Honor Society
Former Edgewood town councilor, Gary Chemistruck, and his wife, Elaine, are proud to announce that their son, Stephen Chemistruck, age 17, has been elected to the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society following his freshman year at Central New Mexico Community College. Stephen, a homeschool high school graduate in 2007, earned a 3.9 GPA at CNM. He has been studying business administration.
